This transaction jumpstarted environmental remediation and demolition which has led to a large-scale development project now underway. CDC is now planning a $500 million new construction project is expected to have the largest economic development impact of any project under way in the state.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The plan includes 3.75 million square feet of new construction \u2013 office, residential, retail, and light-industrial.
