Assignment Directions:
Virtual Child PowerPoint Presentations
Do not complete prior to Week 10. Your Virtual Child must be 18 years of age prior to your submission otherwise credit will not be given for the presentation nor the peer responses. Partial credit will not be given.
The presentation and your two peer responses are due in Week 12 (see Course Schedule for due date). All is due in the Discussion Board under the title Virtual Child PowerPoint Presentation Link. You will submit it as a Microsoft Office PowerPoint Presentation attachment only.
- You will describe some specific ways in which your child developed during Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, and Adolescence, that appeared to be influenced by factors outside your control, such as genes, random environmental events or the general influence of contemporary middle-class American culture.
- For each of the age groups (early, middle and adolescence) you will display the events. The display must include pictures with captions explaining the events. Please note that you cannot receive credit unless your Virtual Child is 18 years of age by the due date, and prior to your submission.
- You will create a Microsoft Office: PowerPoint Presentation (no other software presentations will be accepted), that covers the same information as above. Each age group must have its own slides.
